I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Bowel Cancer New Zealand and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Decembeard 2017. Beards aren’t just for hipsters, those with tatts, men that ride motorbikes or people that are too lazy to shave. All you need to do is grow a beard (or some bum fluff) for the month of December, and promote your facial hair to raise awareness and funds for New Zealand’s second biggest cancer killer – bowel cancer!
Bowel Cancer kills more than 1,200 New Zealander’s every year and a change in bowel movements is one of the most common symptoms. The good news is that bowel cancer is curable in more than 75 percent of cases if caught early. We need your help to continue our lifesaving work, so please help by showing your support this Decembeard.
